Welcome to my Youtube Channel
“Hi I’m Ben Woollacott and welcome to my Youtube channel.
I’m from Pembroke in West Wales and I’m a London based drummer. I’ve been playing drums since I was 12 years old and I’ve been drumming for a long time…. I graduated from a music college ACM in Guildford around 2001 and that year I joined my first signed band called The Veils. We were signed to Rough Trade Records and I was in that band for 3 years. When that finished I ended up becoming a session player, playing for artists on labels such as: Universal, SONY, Virgin, EMI and many unsigned acts as well. [I’m] Still recording, touring and gigging today. Do check out my Youtube channel for more videos and if you want to know more, check out www.benwoollacott.com.”
Do sit back, click the play button on the video above and enjoy the brief introduction of myself. Feel free to leave a comment underneath, subscribe to my channel, or simply peruse my other videos on offer. My goal is continually provide content relevant to drummers and musicians alike. They’ll be more performance videos, advice and drum tips to come. I hope to have a great deal of fun producing more content! Until then, welcome to my Youtube channel.
Introduce Yourself
If you’re a musician like me, it’s important to have a business card and/or a video where you can introduce yourself and remind people of what it is you do.
In this day an age people can use their smart phones immediately and, as-well-as your social media, check out your youtube channel. You’ll also want them to check out more of your content. After all, that’s the point of your Youtube channel right?
So, upload a video to introduce yourself and see where it takes you.
Do you have an introduction video on your YouTube channel? Leave me a link in the comments section below.
